47 deported persons from Europe were this afternoon received by Officials of the Nigerian immigration service at the Lagos Cargo airport.
With Germany hosting the deportation operation, 18 other Nigerians arrested from other EU countries were conveyed to join 29 others onboard an the Air Tanker deportation machine that departed Dusseldorf Airport for Lagos at about 9am this morning.
This is the sixth charter deportation operation with active involvement of Germany and Austria since the beginning of this year
The deported persons are expected to remain in Quarantine for one week before they are released to sort out themselves.
For your information, the next charter deportation flight is scheduled for 12. October 2020.
There is enough time for those threatened with deportation to seek legal counseling or otherwise.
